The Wilson Defyer 100UL V1 is the lightest version of the Defyer series racquet, designed for players seeking easy handling, a fast swing, and good access to spin. With an unstrung weight of 265g, this model is exceptionally maneuverable and is well-suited for juniors transitioning to a senior racquet, recreational players, and tennis players looking to reduce arm strain.

The 100 in² head size provides a universal combination of power and forgiveness on off-center hits. The open 16x19 string pattern facilitates topspin generation, and the racquet's low weight allows for faster head speed on forehands, returns, and shots played on the run.

Torq Shaft technology supports the transfer of swing energy to the racquet head, helping to achieve more spin and ball speed. The SI3D construction combines a more flexible hoop with a stiffer throat, which improves the frame's stability and response on impact. Dual Taper Beam and Parallel Drilling increase the effective sweet spot and improve stringbed dynamics.

The integrated Airfoil Bumper reduces air resistance during the swing, while the DirectConnect system enhances ball feel and torsional stability through a direct connection between the carbon handle and the racquet butt cap.
