The Wilson Defyer 100L V1 is a lighter version of the Defyer 100 racket, designed for players who want to achieve spin, power, and controlled dynamics in a more maneuverable frame. Its weight of 285 g makes it easier to swing the racket faster, which is why this model is well-suited for intermediate tennis players, ambitious juniors, and players who don't need the full 300 g weight.
The 100 in² head size provides a universal combination of tolerance, control, and dynamics. The open 16x19 string pattern helps generate topspin, and the lighter construction allows for easier racket head acceleration during forehands, returns, and shots played on the run.
Torq Shaft technology supports the transfer of swing energy to the racket head, helping to achieve more spin and ball speed. The SI3D construction combines a more flexible frame with a stiffer throat, which improves ball-to-string interaction and stability upon impact.
