The Drive 25” is made of graphite composite, which provides excellent vibration dampening, reducing strain on the hand and protecting it from overuse injuries. This allows children to play longer and more intensely without risking injury. This material also allows for better energy transfer, meaning the ball flies faster even with less effort from the player.

Junior Racket Grip – Dimensions

Junior tennis rackets have smaller grips than standard adult rackets. Grip size refers to the circumference of the handle, most often given in two systems: European, i.e., G00000–G2, and American, where the circumference is expressed in inches.

For children and juniors, a well-chosen grip helps them hold the racket more securely, control the racket head more easily, and reduces unnecessary hand tension. A grip that is too large can hinder free wrist movement, while one that is too small can cause the hand to clench too tightly on the handle.

In practice, the grip size should be selected based on the size of the child's hand, and not solely on age or height. The table below may be helpful.

It is important to choose the grip of a junior racket primarily based on hand size, and only then on age, height, or racket length. Children of the same age can have very different hand sizes, so grip size should be treated as a separate parameter.
