The Yonex Muscle Power JR white/lime yellow badminton racket is a junior model designed for the youngest players who are just learning the basics of the game and need a lighter, shorter, and easier-to-handle racket. In official Yonex materials, it is referred to as the Muscle Power 2 Junior in White / Lime Yellow.
The construction is based on an aluminum frame and a steel shaft, which ensures good durability during learning and recreational play. The shorter length of 21 inches / 53.3 cm makes it easier for children to handle the racket, and the factory stringing allows play to start immediately after purchase. The official Yonex catalog also states a weight of 4U (average 83g) and a recommended string tension of 14–18 lbs.
The model uses ISOMETRIC and Muscle Power Frame technologies. The isometric head shape increases the sweet spot, which helps young players hit the shuttlecock more easily, while the Muscle Power construction improves the interaction between the frame and the string, supporting a more fluid energy transfer upon impact.
