The Head T.I.P. (Tennis Instructional Program by Head) Orange ball is designed for practicing tennis skills on a larger court. It is a suitable ball for preparing to play on a full tennis court (transitional between a ball for playing on "mini courts" and a ball for playing on a full-size court). It is mainly used for playing on a court measuring 18m x 5.6m-8.23m. It is about 50% slower than a standard tennis ball, giving players more time to react. It is two-colored, making it easy to see and hit. Approved by the ITF.

Tennis Instruction Program
In cooperation with the ITF (International Tennis Federation) as part of the "Tennis...Play and Stay" campaign, Head has developed a new T.I.P. (Tennis Instruction Program) – an innovative system supporting learning to play tennis. According to the T.I.P. concept, a beginner player should be serving, hitting confidently, and scoring points already during the first lesson, which thus becomes a positive and encouraging introduction to further learning. The T.I.P. program supports this concept by providing rackets and balls suitable for every level of learning to play tennis.
