Solinco Weight Control Module for Rackets
The Solinco Weight Control Module is a replaceable weighting module designed for customizing Solinco tennis rackets. It is mounted directly in the butt cap of the handle, allowing you to increase the total weight of the racket and simultaneously shift its balance towards the handle.
This is a practical solution for players who want to modify their racket's characteristics without using lead tape, silicone, or other permanent tuning methods. The module can be quickly installed, tested during play, and, if necessary, easily returned to the factory configuration.
How does the Weight Control Module work?
The weight replaces the standard plate located in the butt cap of the handle. Placing additional mass precisely in this location makes the racket more head-light. This allows it to maintain or improve its maneuverability despite the increase in total weight.
A heavier racket can also improve its stability during ball contact and increase the perceived solidity on stronger shots. Weighting the handle is especially useful for players who want a heavier and more stable frame without excessively increasing the head's inertia.
Available variants
- +5 g – a subtle change in racket weight and balance,
- +10 g – a more noticeable weighting of the handle and a greater change in the frame's characteristics.
Depending on the module used, the racket's balance can shift by approximately 2–3 points towards the handle. This allows for more precise adjustment of equipment parameters to your swing and preferred way of handling the racket.
Simple and reversible racket tuning
The system uses a replaceable plate in the butt cap of the handle. It does not require gluing additional elements to the frame or permanent interference with the racket's construction. This allows for quick changes and the ability to revert to the previous settings at any time.
