Yonex EZONE 98 Espresso Brown Tennis Racquet

The Yonex EZONE 98 Espresso Brown is a dynamic tennis racquet designed for more demanding players who expect a combination of power, precision, stability, and high impact comfort. The 98 in² head size provides a more direct feel of the ball, while the 305g weight offers adequate stability during fast and aggressive play.

Compared to larger and more forgiving designs, the EZONE 98 offers more precise characteristics, while retaining the features for which the EZONE series is known – easy access to dynamics and a soft, comfortable feel upon ball contact.

Precision and stability of the EZONE 98

The combination of a 98 in² head and 305g weight allows for more controlled and stable racquet handling. The model performs well during powerful groundstrokes, when the player generates sufficient swing speed themselves and needs equipment that provides confidence in fast play.

The 16 × 19 string pattern still leaves plenty of room for generating spin, making the EZONE 98 suitable for both flat, powerful shots and aggressive topspin.

ISOMETRIC™ – larger sweet spot

The characteristic ISOMETRIC™ technology uses a modified head shape, the purpose of which is to enlarge the effective sweet spot. In the latest generation of EZONE, the design has been further developed by widening the top of the frame and changing its internal profile.

As a result, the racquet remains more effective even when hitting off-center, which increases forgiveness without taking away its precise character.

MINOLON – soft and comfortable feel

The racquet's construction incorporates MINOLON material, placed between the carbon layers within the shaft. Its task is to give the racquet a softer and more fluid feel during ball contact.

MINOLON works with 2G-Namd™ Speed material, which helps the construction quickly regain its original shape after flexing. This allows for combining comfort with dynamic frame response during powerful impacts.

VDM – reduction of unwanted vibrations

Vibration Dampening Mesh (VDM) technology uses a special material placed around the graphite inside the racquet handle. Its purpose is to filter out unwanted vibrations generated during impact.

This solution improves playing comfort and makes ball contact feel more stable and soft, even during fast rallies and more powerful shots.

Who is the Yonex EZONE 98 for?

The Yonex EZONE 98 will be a particularly good choice for intermediate and advanced tennis players who have a full swing and want to gain greater control over the direction and pace of their shots.

  • for intermediate and advanced players,
  • for tennis players who prefer offensive play from the baseline,
  • for those looking for more precision than in models with a 100 in² head,
  • for players who value stability during powerful impacts,
  • for those who want to combine control with easier access to power,
  • for tennis players who pay attention to comfort and vibration dampening.

The EZONE 98 Espresso Brown combines the precise character of a racquet with a 98 in² head with the comfort and dynamic behavior characteristic of the EZONE series. This is a proposition for players who want to generate pace themselves, but at the same time expect the racquet to support them with stability, adequate dynamics, and a soft feel of the ball.

Frequently Asked Questions

Aby zamówić rakietę gotową do gry, wystarczy wybrać odpowiednią opcję podczas składania zamówienia — koszt usługi zostanie automatycznie doliczony do całkowitej wartości zamówienia.

Bardziej zaawansowani zawodnicy często wybierają twardsze i bardziej precyzyjne naciągi, np.
