Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 4th Gen Tennis Racquet - Test Model

A Babolat tennis racquet from the refreshed, iconic Pure Strike series. The new generation of racquets developed to increase control and feel during impact. Pure Strike models are ideal for players who want to control the game with precise shots using the opponent's power. The more flexible frames of the new Pure Strike increase control and additionally stabilize the racquet when hitting the ball.

Pure Strike 18x20: BENEFITS FOR YOU

Pin your opponent in the corner with precise shots - additional control is provided by the 630 cm2 head size and the frame with CONTROL FRAME TECHNOLOGY.
Easily counter your opponent's strongest balls thanks to the stabilizing 305-gram weight.
Even greater precision thanks to the dense 18/20 string pattern.
Enjoy a premium product - even more beautiful graphics will boost your confidence on the court.

Applied technologies:

NF2-TECH - Natural flax fibers optimally dampen vibrations, providing a clean feel and a muffled sound upon impact.

FSI CONTROL - Combines a denser string pattern for greater control with the Woofer system, which extends contact between the ball and strings during impact for a better feel.

CONTROL FRAME TECHNOLOGY - Racquet frame construction designed to increase control. It combines the stability of a rectangular cross-section frame with the power of an elliptical cross-section frame.

Racket weight (g)

Racket weight (g)

Light (up to 285 g) – easy to maneuver, ideal for beginners and those who value fast play. Most often chosen by women, young people, and players with less physical strength.
Medium (286–305 g) – provides a good balance between power, control, and maneuverability. Suitable for both men and women at intermediate and advanced levels.
Heavy (over 305 g) – offers the greatest stability and hitting power, but requires good technique and fitness. Most often chosen by men and advanced players, although stronger and more advanced women also use it.

305
Head size (cm²)

Head size (cm²)

Smaller (up to 645 cm² / 100 in²) – provides greater control and hitting precision, but requires better feel and consistent hitting of the sweet spot. Recommended for intermediate and advanced players.
Medium (645–690 cm² / 100–107 in²) – offers a good balance between power, control, and playing comfort. This is the most versatile choice, suitable for most tennis players.
Larger (over 690 cm² / 107 in²) – provides a larger sweet spot, makes it easier to generate power and forgives more hitting errors. Recommended for beginners, recreational players, and seniors.

630
Balance (mm)

Balance (mm)

Head-light (below 320 mm) – the center of gravity is shifted towards the handle, making the racket more agile and easier to maneuver. This balance promotes quick handwork, better control, and net play. Often chosen by more advanced players who can generate power independently.
Neutral (320–330 mm) – provides a universal combination of maneuverability, stability, and power. This is the most versatile type of balance, suitable for a wide range of players – from intermediate to advanced.
Head-heavy (above 330 mm) – the center of gravity is shifted towards the racket head, which makes it easier to generate power and increases stability on impact. However, this balance may reduce racket maneuverability. Often found in models for beginners, recreational players, and players seeking easier dynamics.

320
String pattern

String pattern

Open (e.g., 16x18, 16x19) – larger gaps between strings make it easier to generate spin and power. The ball "sinks" into the strings more easily, allowing for greater topspin and a higher shot trajectory. Very popular in rackets designed for modern, dynamic play.
Intermediate (e.g., 16x20) – provides a compromise between ease of spin generation and shot control and predictability. A good choice for players looking for a versatile racket characteristic.
Dense (e.g., 18x20) – smaller gaps between strings provide greater control and precision. This pattern usually generates less spin and free power, which is why it is often chosen by experienced players who hit hard and expect high racket predictability.

18/20
Composition

Composition

Aluminum – a material used mainly in recreational and junior rackets. Aluminum rackets are affordable and easy to use, but provide less stability, control, and feel than graphite constructions.
Graphite composite – a construction using a combination of several materials, most often aluminum and graphite. Provides better stability and playing properties than basic aluminum rackets, remaining a good solution for beginners and recreational players.
Graphite – the best choice for people who want to play regularly, develop their technique, and make faster progress. The graphite construction provides better stability, ball feel, control, and a more predictable racket response, making it easier to learn proper strokes and further develop the game. A graphite racket can serve a player for a longer period – from the first training sessions to a much higher skill level. This is the most recommended type of construction for people who treat tennis as a regular hobby or sport.

graphite
Stiffness

Stiffness

Flexible (up to 63 RA) – the frame flexes more during ball contact, providing better feel, greater comfort, and better vibration dampening. Rackets with lower stiffness are often chosen by players who value control and comfort, but usually require greater player engagement in independently generating power.
Medium (64–67 RA) – a universal combination of comfort, control, and dynamics. The racket maintains a good ball feel, while offering easier power generation than more flexible constructions. This is a versatile range suitable for many playing styles and skill levels.
Stiff (68 RA and more) – the frame deforms less during impact, thus more effectively transferring energy to the ball and helping to generate greater power. It provides a dynamic and direct playing characteristic, but usually offers less comfort and transfers more vibrations to the hand than more flexible constructions.

68
Skill level

Skill level

Beginner – rackets primarily focused on ease of play, high error tolerance, and easy power generation. They are usually lighter and often have a larger head, which helps during the learning of proper technique.
Intermediate – rackets offering a good balance between power, control, comfort, and maneuverability. Designed for people who play tennis regularly and have already mastered the basic techniques.
Advanced – models offering greater precision, stability, and control. They usually require better technique and the ability to generate power independently. They allow for more conscious control of the ball's direction, pace, and spin.

advanced
Racket type

Racket type

Control - provides high shot precision and better ball control, at the cost of ease of power generation.
Spin - facilitates imparting spin (topspin and slice) to the ball thanks to its construction and string pattern.
Power - helps generate greater hitting power with less player effort.
Comfort - effectively dampens vibrations and reduces hand strain, increasing playing comfort and limiting the risk of injury.
Recreational - easy to handle and forgiving of errors, suitable for occasional play and learning the basics.
Developmental - supports technique development and allows for gradual progression to a higher level of play.
Universal - combines power, control, and comfort, performing well with various playing styles.

Pokrowiec na rakietę do padla Wilson czarny

Pokrowiec wykonany z dobrego materiału. Prezentuje się bardzo dobrze. Jedynie napis Wilson mógłby być bardziej subtelny tzn. mniejszy.
